New drywall & drywall repairs are among the most frequently requested items here at The Dapper Doer. The picture above was the result of a flood. The bottom 12" of drywall had to be cut out completely by the insurance clean-up crew, then we were called for the restoration.

For those who like to be involved in their home improvement, and those who don't, we offer three levels of patching services.

🎯 Wall Patching - Basic

Cut out and replace drywall in affected area.
Tape joints.
Apply 3 coats of mud, allowing each layer to set before next application.
Sponge smooth. Allow to dry fully.

(Customer performs touch sand next day.)
Includes all materials.

🎯 Wall Patching - BETTER

Includes everything in Basic, plus:
Add spray Texturizer to patch to simulate "orange peel effect."

Allow to dry.
Roll primer on patched area so it's ready for painting.
Includes Texturizer, primer, and priming supplies.

Includes everything in Basic & Better, plus:
Adds 2 finish coats of paint to the patched area.
(Customer supplies color matched paint)
Includes painting supplies.

About Us

A NJ resident for 48 years, Lee is a third generation carpenter, following in both his grandfather and great-grandfather's footsteps. He is a proud graduate of Drexel University (go Dragons!!), and spent 25 years in technical sales as Regional, then North American Sales Mgr. for an international building materials manufacturer. The Dapper Doer LLC was founded in 2018.
