Wainscoting is a term for versatile moulding designs that encompass a wide range of styles including picture frame, shiplap, edge and center bead, board and batten, flat panel, raised panel, and more.  Below are a few examples from some of our past work. 

Shiplap feature wall surrounding a gas fireplace, crafted by The Dapper Doer LLC for a young professional couple in Cherry Hill, NJ. The wall is 5 ft wide and 9 ft tall, painted in crisp white with a white marble hearth. Adorned with crown molding and a wooden mantle, 5 ft wide, adding elegance and warmth to the home's ambiance. .png

Board and batten installation with a picture ledge, completed by The Dapper Doer LLC in a townhouse in Mount Laurel. This distinctive feature, praised by the realtor as the deciding factor for the new buyer, adds character and style to the home's interior, enhancing its appeal and value.

Edge and center bead wainscot installation by The Dapper Doer LLC in the Barclay Farms section of Cherry Hill. This is a view of one corner of the room, featuring a picture ledge and handcrafted window casings. The design includes Andersen windows with a bevel on the front edges of their wooden frames. We hand made the casings to match with a similar bevel on one side, and a larger, rounded "bead" on the other edge complements the bead board. Corner details are finished with Rosettes, resulting in a beautifully crafted and cohesive look.

About Us

A NJ resident for 48 years, Lee is a third generation carpenter, following in both his grandfather and great-grandfather's footsteps.  He is a proud graduate of Drexel University (go Dragons!!), and spent 25 years in technical sales as Regional, then North American Sales Mgr. for an international building materials manufacturer.  The Dapper Doer LLC was founded in 2018.
